Piglet-and-balloon

The Balloon is a "character" in the Winnie the Pooh franchise. He is an inanimate object, but everyone treats him like a real creature.

Movie Appearances[]

Winnie the Pooh (2011 film)[]

The Balloon is first shown in Christopher Robin's room tied to a note. He is later shown in the Zooey Deschanel version of Winnie the Pooh tied to a tricycle. When Tigger jumps out of a bush he pounces on Balloon. When Balloon is lost in the Hundred Acre Wood and everyone is stuck in the Backson trap they want Piglet to find him even though Piglet is terrified. Balloon is the one that finds Christopher Robin, and it wins a pot of honey as a reward.

The Many Adventures Of Winnie the Pooh[]

In order to collect honey, Winnie the Pooh devised a plan where he would cover himself in mud and tie himself to Balloon. While tied to Balloon, Pooh floats up to a beehive, tries to collect Honey, and is chased by a swarm of bees. In this movie, Balloon is light blue.
