"Darby's Halloween Case" is the second segment of the sixth episode of the third season, or the fifty-first episode overall, of My Friends Tigger & Pooh.

Synopsis[]

When Turtle holds a Halloween party in his cave, things start getting a little too scary. Everyone hears strange noises and things start moving seemingly on their own. They become convinced that Turtle's cave is haunted by ghosts, so Piglet calls the Super Sleuths to get to the bottom of things.

Plot[]

One Halloween, Darby and Buster had finished trick-or-treating and meet up with Tigger, Pooh and Piglet to get ready to go to a party at Turtle's cave, which Rabbit and Porcupine are also attending. Once they arrive, Piglet gets scared of the decorations, to which Pooh assures him they are pretend. Tigger begins telling a scary story, but is interrupted by screeching and bongo sounds and large shadows, which makes everyone run outside. Pooh, Tigger, Darby and Buster go to the Changing Tree to change into the Super Sleuths, then return to Turtle's cave. Pooh stays outside to accompany Piglet with Darby leaving them her bag of treats while she and the others go into the cave to investigate. Pooh briefly goes in to retrieve his honey pot, during which Piglet notices Darby's bag seemingly moving by itself. He tries telling this to Pooh, but Pooh misunderstands him due to his stuttering and puts his head in the bag, oblivious to Piglet freaking out when the honey pot appears to move on its own too. Back in the cave, the others encounter the sounds and shadows again as well as another moving bag, so they run outside again with Tigger dropping his flashlight. They all begin thinking Turtle's cave is haunted for real, but Darby says they should overcome their fear and figure out what is really going on. The others eventually agree with Darby and follow her back into the cave. The sounds and shadows return once more, but this time, everyone stands up to the ghosts and do not run away. Buster notices Small and a line of ants crossing Tigger's flashlight, which were casting the shadows. It also turns out the screeching came from Small when he jumps, the bongos from an ant-sized record player, and that the ants were moving the bags. Everyone realizes Small and the ants were having their own party and decide to join in.
