Synopsis[]

While out on a case, the Super Sleuths decide to split up and need a way to signal each other. Darby decides on whistling, which Tigger goes along with even though he can’t whistle. When he finally admits his secret, Pooh and Darby agree to help him to learn. However, Tigger, quickly becomes frustrated when he can't master it right away.

Plot[]

The Super Sleuths chase Roo's runaway balloon and have difficulty catching it. Darby suggests they split up and whistle to signal the others they caught the balloon. Tigger manages to catch the balloon, but is having trouble whistling. The other Sleuths find Tigger, who tells them he cannot whistle and then walks sadly back home. He is still sad when the others catch up, so Darby suggests she and Pooh teach him how to whistle. They all go to the changing tree to change back into the Super Sleuths, then return to Tigger's house. Darby tells Tigger to blow air between his teeth and lips, but no whistling happens when he gives it a try, even when he tries again using more air. Pooh suggests Tigger licks his lips and Tigger realizes his throat is feeling dry, so they go to Rabbit's house where Tigger drinks from Rabbit's hose. However, he becomes bloated after drinking too much and is still unable to whistle. He goes bouncing and returns feeling better. Darby thinks Tigger could whistle using the instrument rather than his mouth. They ask Rabbit if he has a whistle, which he does not, but he decides to build one. It ends up being a complicated and heavy contraption that makes Tigger fall down when he tries to walk. Tigger starts feeling like giving up and quitting being a Super Sleuth, to which Darby tells him he is important to the team and learning new things takes practice. Tigger agrees to keep practicing, but decides to wait another day as to let his lips rest. At his suggestion, they also agree to signal each other by hooting in the meantime.
