Round My Family Tree is a song which was sung by Tigger and Chorus in The Tigger Movie. In this song, Tigger imagines his family.
Sequence[]
Tigger appears in a spotlight as famous pictures depicting him appear whilst he describes his family. These pictures include Persistence of Time, Picasso, Venus, American Gothic and The Blue Boy.
Tigger then plants a picture of an acorn as it begins to rain. He opens up an umbrella as the picture transforms into a massive striped tree filled with different colored Tiggers.
The Tiggers all bounce and dance in a hoedown as Tigger versions of The Five Bear Rugs from the country bear jamboree play the song. The whole scene then morphs into The Brady Bunch Logo with Tiggers.
The Jackson 5 Tiggers join in the song until they are crushed by a huge fat opera singing Tigger. On a monty python animated street an old man Tigger drives a Dr Seuss styled car. Suddenly a grandma tigger drives a red hod rod past him.
A group of female pop star Tiggers dance before a crowd of Tiggers. They then form the word "TIGGERS". Fat Tigger cheerleaders then begin dancing as well. On a football field a small tigger catches the ball before a bunch of football playing tiggers dogpile him as the tigger referee blows his whistle.
Tigger then appears in space wearing an astronaut suit. Suddenly a UFO appears with a tigger alien inside it. Then an announcer cries out "The Amazing Flying Tiggers!" as a Tigger trapeze artist flies through the air and into a poster of several other tiggers causing them all to fall. We then transition to "Tigger Talk" where a family of Tiggers fight each other. The announcer tigger looks on in shock as a sexy woman tigger carries over a card reading "ROUND 2".
Tigger then appears as a scholar pointing his stick at a picture of his family tree. One of the roots outgrows the picture and Tigger follows it transforming into various costumes as he does so. An amoeba then transforms into a cave tigger as a tiggersaur eats it before being killed by an asteroid.
A gladiator tigger is being congratulated in a coliseum before being scared of by an actual tiger. As the greek tiggers cheer for the tiger instead the camera pans to several statues of tigger including the Thinker and David. Tigger then fans an egyptian tigger eating grapes in front of a hieroglyphic tigger painting.
The painting crumbles to reveal tigger versions of Pocahontas and Lewis and Clark. Tigger then holds up a sandy map in front of multiple tigger constellations. The map grows into the earth and explodes. A Don Quixote tigger rides his horse toward a windmill that turns into a monster and scares him off. In the desert a rustler tigger with bags of cash is put in a wanted poster that is shot repeatedly.
Tiggerella leaves her footprint in the sidewalk of fame and walks the red carpet as her tigger fans watch her in awe. The wind from a vent then blows her skirt up like Marilyn Monroe. She is blown up over the hollywood sign as the clapperboard snaps take 2. Tigger is now in a barbershop with a quartet of tiggers.
A saw cuts a circle underneath tigger as he falls through it. He then ice skates through a forest. He yanks his reflection out and skates with it. He swirls it around and it becomes a christmas tree with multiple tigger ornaments. In a movie theatre the audience is filled with tiggers wearing 3D glasses. On the big screen tigger is wearing a tuxedo and top hat.
He points his cane to a chorus line of Tiggers. A bunch of tuxedo tiggers come into frame and tip their hats. They look up and see angel tiggers hanging from the ceiling sprinkling baskets of confetti. One of the angel tiggers' rope snaps and he falls to the ground. A line of mustached tuxedo tiggers bounce around as 2 lines of tigger midgets bounce past them going opposite ways. An fat elderly woman tigger that appears on top of a pink lemonade fountain holding an umbrella.
The chorus line tiggers all dive into the lemonade pool. As they swim synchronized, Tigger's face appears in a bubble. The bubble pops and the many tiggers from the song land on a stairway and dance. (The fat oprea tigger and one of the pop stars even kiss each other.) Tigger pushes down a detonator that creates multiple christmas trees.
As the song ends tigger bounces into the air and several fireworks explode.
Song Lyrics[]
(Spoken) Just imagine it 100s of 1000s of Tiggers!
Are all bouncin' around up there, in our huge, gigantical family tree!
Tigger: There's momsey tiggers
And popsey tiggers
And tiggers I never knew
Like sister tiggers
And brother tiggers
And cousin tiggers too.
There's grandma tiggers
And grandpa tiggers
As you can plainly see.
When we're all together
It's a jumping jamboree.
Round, round my family tree.
I look like them and they look like me.
Round, round my family tree.
We're a happy family.
There's huge slews of nephew tiggers
Uncle tiggers by the ton
There's whippersnapping great-great-grandpappy tiggers
And grandma tiggers are fun.
There's skinny-little, tiny-little, thin, little tiggers
Roly-poly tiggers too.
But we're all relations
And we're quite a mighty crew!
Round, round my family tree.
I look like them and they look like me.
Round, round my family tree.
We're a happy family.
Round my family tree.
We're a happy family.
The firstest most roots of my family tree
Reach way back in history
To the braverest, fiercerest, noblerest tiggers
You'd ever care to see.
The heroicus figgers of my ancestor tiggers
Have always been hailed and cheered.
And the scuplturous grace of our tiggerous faces
Is why we're all revered
There were warrior tiggers, explorier tiggers
And tiggers of worldly acclaim.
There were glorious, fantasmagorious tiggers
With prizes and fortunes and fame.
There's the glamorous branch and the amorous branch
Of our fabulous family tree.
And when we sing together
We're in...
Tigger and Chorus: ...Perfect harmony!
Round and round my family tree.
I look like them and they look like me.
Round and round my family tree.
Tigger: We're a happy family!
Hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo!
There's...
Tigger and Chorus: ...Momsey tiggers and popsey tiggers
And tiggers I never knew
Tigger: Hoo-hoo!
Tigger and Chorus: Like uncle tiggers and nephew tiggers
And grandma tiggers too.
And when we tiggers all get together
We really have a ball!
The bounciest, trounciest, flounciest, pounciest
Tigger: Most tiggerificest...
Tigger and Chorus: ...Family reunion of all!
Tigger: Everybody bounce! You know how to do it! Hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo!
