Hock-Lian Law's work focused on animation effects. Hock-Lian started with Media-Cine Productions in 1979 as an effects animator for medical diagram animated films. Hock then had a brief stint with Walt Disney Animation France and London with Ducktales The Movie before going to Universal pictures with An American Tail: Fievel Goes West and We're Back! Then it's several Dreamworks pictures The Prince of Egypt, The Road to El Dorado, and Spirit; Stallion of the Cimarron. Hock then returned to Walt Disney Animation with The Jungle Book 2, Piglet's Big Movie, Mulan II, Lilo & Stitch 2, Tarzan & Jane (as a technical director) Winnie The Pooh: Springtime With Roo and Pooh's Heffalump Movie. Then in 2007; Hock went onto do CGI for The Simpsons Movie and was recently seen doing effect animation for Nocturna at No Boundaries Studios. Hock-Lian also worked as an artist for Eragon in 2006, Astronaut Farmer in 2006 and the Curious George Productions as a 2D and 3D animation artist. Hock has since moved to video games for Heavy Iron Studios as a VFX artist for Disney/Pixar's Up and Spongebob Truth or Square for the XBOX 360 and Nintendo Wii! Hock-Lian Law was working for Duck Soup in 2012; doing special effects for a MacDonald's commercial.
