Lumpy (full name Heffridge Trumpler Brompet Heffalump IV) is a young heffalump whose full name is "Heffridge Trumpler Brompet Heffalump, IV." Since his name is very long, he is almost exclusively referred to as "Lumpy." He is inspired by Junior Heffalump from The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. Lumpy has never interacted with Owl or Kessie.
Lumpy was introduced in the film Pooh's Heffalump Movie. When Roo joins the heffalump-hunting expedition without his mum's knowledge, he ends up discovering Lumpy and captures him. Roo soon discovers that none of the scary things Rabbit and the others told him about Heffalumps were true. The two become fast friends and are seen celebrating their friendship in the song "Shoulder to Shoulder" in which Lumpy finally uncaptures himself.
Lumpy returns in Pooh's Heffalump Halloween Movie and become a semi-regular character in the TV series My Friends Tigger & Pooh, voiced by Kyle Stanger. Lumpy has a stuffed crocodile named Alvin and is fond of the snack uh-er-oo-ls. He also never recognizes Tigger and Pooh while they are dressed as the Super Sleuths and thinks they are joking whenever they or anyone else explain who they really are.
Lumpy does not appear in the 2011 film Winnie the Pooh, likely due to the fact the film is based on five original stories by A.A. Milne written long before he was created.
