Plot[]
Pooh, Piglet, Tigger and Rabbit go to Owl's house to invite him on a picnic. He is not home, but they find a book on the ground right outside his door. Tigger and Rabbit fight over who gets to read it first, resulting in it falling into a washtub. They all head down and take it out to find it empty. They think the water washed off the words and pictures and decide to cover it up by writing a new story for the book. Tigger starts to write about himself as a detective named T.G. McSnarl, but Piglet finds it too sad and scary and takes over. He starts with himself walking through the woods and meeting princess, played by Rabbit. The princess falls in love with Piglet and kisses him, which turns him into a hog prince. At that point, Rabbit stops the story and begins to write about how to garden with himself playing a gardener. The three argue over the book when Pooh stops them and says his story idea combines the others'. In his story, the gardener is having trouble with his eggplants being squashed, so he calls for help from T.G. McSnarl, who concludes it is the doing of woozles. The hog prince then makes a decree prohibiting woozles from squashing any fruits and vegetables. At that moment, Owl returns home and the others explain what happened to the book. He reveals it to be a journal that was empty to begin with, though he is intrigued by the story the others wrote and proceeds to read it. He likes it so much he decides to put it on a special place on his bookshelf.
