"Pooh Sticks Get Stuck" is the second segment of the seventh episode of My Friends Tigger & Pooh.
Synopsis[]
Pooh and the gang have had some trouble deciding what game to play, but have finally come to a compromise. They decide to go with Pooh Sticks first, but find that their sticks are getting stuck. They discover all of the water has disappeared from one side of the stream in which they traditionally play the game. They decide to investigate to find out what's blocking things up.
Plot[]
Pooh, Tigger, Darby, Buster, Piglet and Roo are having trouble deciding whether to play butterfly tag or Pooh Sticks. Darby suggests they compromise and take turns playing the two games, which the others agree to. They decide to play Pooh Sticks first, so they each gather sticks and head to the bridge. However, after dropping their sticks into the river, they find it is dry on the other side, so Piglet and Roo sound the Sleuther Siren while the others go to change into the Super Sleuths. They return to the bridge and begin thinking of what could have happened. Roo suggests the water went down a drain, which Tigger finds possible, but Darby doubts a river would have a drain. Tigger goes under the bridge and finds a pile of sticks blocking the river. He thinks it might be from the amount of Pooh Sticks games they have played, but Darby does not recall their sticks getting stuck in the past. At a suggestion of Roo, Tigger pokes a hole in the pile with a long branch, which allows the river to start filling up, so they all return to playing Pooh Sticks. However, the river had dried again, so they go back under the bridge and find Beaver working on the stick pile. Beaver introduces himself and explains the pile is to allow him to store his food in deep water. He also expresses how he always works and desires time to play. Pooh brings up the idea of making a compromise, so Darby suggests she and the others help Beaver moves his sticks downstream while Beaver joins them in Pooh Sticks. Beaver agrees to this and ends up enjoying the game.
During the credits, Darby lists what are needed to play Pooh Sticks, leaving out the sticks themselves and asking the viewers what the last thing is.
