"That’s What We Do" is a song from "Mr. Narrator," an episode of The Book of Pooh. The Narrator realized that there was no story for The Book of Pooh, so he tried to make up a story. However, everyone was out of character in it, and the gang wasn't pleased with their roles. So through this song, they explained to him that they are who they really are.
Lyrics[]
POOH: Now, most people know I like honey sweet.
Others like it well enough. It's fine for them to eat.
But it means more to me because I'm Winnie the Pooh.
I like the things I like. Oh, that's just what I do.
RABBIT: Now, gardening is hard
But that's my cup of tea
TIGGER: And bouncing isn't everything
But it's everything to me
POOH, TIGGER & RABBIT: Everybody knows we just happen to
Like the things we like
That's just what we do
KESSIE: To fly
EEYORE: To mope
OWL: To tell a tale or two
PIGLET: To try, to hope
OWL: That's just what we do
ALL: That's just what we do!
POOH: And I do suppose you like something, too
That's just who you are. That's just what you do. (Everybody knows)
PIGLET: When some things seem so true
TIGGER & KESSIE: You do what you do best
POOH: And that's just what you do
POOH, PIGLET, RABBIT, OWL, KESSIE, TIGGER & EEYORE: That's just what you do
RABBIT: (Speaking) Alright, Narrator, let's try this 1 more time! And try to stick closer to who we really are.
