Disney’s Winnie de Poeh de Musical is the dutch production of the musical Winnie the Pooh: The New Musical Adaptation created by Jonathan Rockefeller and Rockefeller Productions.
Morssinkhof Terra Theater Productions, in collaboration with Rockefeller Productions and Disney Theatrical Group, brings Disney's Winnie the Pooh the Musical to the Netherlands and Belgium for the first time, after it performed successfully in New York, Chicago, London and on tour in the United States and England. The performance, created by Jonathan Rockefeller, was originally seen throughout the Netherlands and Belgium from September 2023 to May 2024, played and sung entirely in Dutch.
The show premiered at the Agora Theater in LELYSTAD from 9 - 10 September 2023 and the musical ended its tour at the Stadsschouwburg Antwerpen Theater in ANTWERPEN (B) on May 5th 2024.
Featuring the world-famous Disney songs from Oscar and Grammy Award winners Robert and Richard Sherman, this story is told with new theatrical and life-size puppets. Based on the world-famous stories of AA Milne and the Disney films and TV series.
Inspired by AA Milne's beloved books and the classic Disney films, Disney Winnie the Pooh: the new musical was welcomed to New York in October 2021, with excellent press responses: “enchanting” (Time Out), “imaginative with brilliant puppetry” (Entertainment Weekly) and “a performance that is truly for all generations” (Whats On Stage).
